Central City Development Group is again the trusted and chosen consultant by the City of Los Angeles to work with Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) in the Farmers Field and Pico Hall expansions to LA Live, representing the Los Angeles Convention Center during the environmental process of the project entitlement phase.
In the Los Angeles Sport and Entertainment world, there is no greater topic than bringing professional football to the city. With the creation of Farmers Field and Pico Hall, AEG is doing everything in their power to make this dream come true. Needless to say, CCDG is thrilled to be a part of planning and developing the structure that will re-introduce the NFL to Los Angeles, in the greatest sports and entertainment location, LA Live.
LA Live is perhaps the most impressive example of multi-use space in California, if not the entire United States and the World. Consisting of the Staples Center, multiple restaurants, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, shopping and titled, “The Most Entertaining Place on the Planet,” LA Live is on the verge of expansion, introducing Farmers Field, Pico Hall (convention center west hall renovation), City Market and Figueroa Central.
In September 2005, Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), Wachovia Corp, Azteca Corp, an investment firm by the name of MacFarlane Partners and the help of Los Angeles Tax Payers saw the $2.5 billion dollar project break ground. The multi-use real estate featured the introduction of new apartments, ballrooms, concert halls, bars and restaurants to Downtown Los Angeles. The central location and easy access to public transportation means commuting to and from LA Live is an easy trip and the ability to satisfy all of your entertainment desires in one location makes LA Live the perfect place to spend an enjoyable evening.
Restaurants and bars include Yard House, Katsuya, Flemings Prime Steak House, Red Mango and Wolfgang Puck’s Bar & Grill, to name a few. These eateries are complemented by Lucky Strike Lanes bowling, an outdoor ice skating rink and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel; which means an enjoyable evening of over indulgence can be had with the peace of mind to know you are spending the night at the same location you were entertained.
AEG has created the best example of a multi-use real estate location in the development of LA Live and the Staples Center. With the expansion developments being constructed, there is much potential in the future of downtown Los Angeles with LA Live as the driving force and best representation of multi-use real estate.
